For those interested, we will be having our 5th Annual NBATVFORUM Overnight ATV Run to Long Lake Adventures on the October Thanksgiving Long Weekend.
For those who aren't familiar with this annual run, Long Lake Adventures is a lodge 50km North East of Plaster Rock that is ran by Clay and Tanya Harrison.

Each year we pick a start point somewhere in New Brunswick and on the Saturday morning of the October Long Weekend we bike up to Long Lake and stay there overnight. The Sunday morning we leave Long Lake and head back down to our start point.
It's a great run during the fall folliage through some of New Brunwick most beautiful scenery through the Chritsmas mountains.
Long Lake Adventures can accomodate about 30 people and offers a mixture of various cabins and this is usually a great couples run but single folks are also welcomed
They charge about $80 per person for your overnight stay and that includes your Roast Beef supper with all the fixings, your accommodations for the night and your big breakfast on Saturday morning. You also have to buy a day pass for Acadia Timber and they also have fuel at Long Lake.
This year the run will be held on October 9th and 10th and the start point will be in Taymouth just outside of Fredericton.
We will leave Taymouth at 9:00 a.m. and head to Doaktown. From Doaktown we will head up towards Long Lake using the same way we went to Campbellton during our Summer Jam but we will veer off left at the Smith Fork Shelter.
We will get to Long Lake around supper time and the trip from Taymouth to Long Lake is an easy 207km run.
That evening we usually have a fire outside and we might even be able to get Clay to take his guitar out.
Sunday morning, we get up, have breakfast, pack the bike and head down to Plaster Rock. We then hit the old railbed in Odell and stop into Odell Falls and have dinner and gas up in Juniper.
In the afternoon we do the Skedaddle Ridge trails on our way to Taymouth. The Sunday trip will be another easy 200km.
I've posted a map of the trip we would be doing. Follow green line to go to Long Lake and Blue line to come back.
Those who have come up to Long Lake in the past have had a great time.
If you would like to come, there is no need to make reservations with the lodge. Just let me know and I will let Long Lake know how many people are attending.
