Well folks our 6thSummer Jam is over, now the planning starts for 6th Winter Jam.

I'm glad to report that we will be returning to northern New Brunswick for Winter Jam 2011. WJ will be located in Tracadie-Sheila in North Eastern New Brunswick. For those who came to Winter Jam in Neguac back in 2007, you can expect just as much fun in Tracadie.

So here are the details

Note: 4 Season Federation Pass REQUIRED

Location: Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick

Dates: February 25, 26th, and 27th

Acccommodations:

The Complex Les Deux Rivières

100, rue Deux Rivieres

Tracadie-Sheila, NB
E1X 4S9
Canada

http://www.complexe2rivieres.ca/index.php/EN/

Reservations: 7 days of week from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Toll Free: 1-866-394-4050

Email: bverna@deuxrivieres.ca

Please refer to the NBATVFORUM group when reserving. Their system isn't setup to take reservations that far ahead but they will take your name and number down and call you back when they are able to take the reservation. But your cottage or room will be reserved once your name is put down.

The complex has 50 cottages and 20 hotel rooms available. They have set aside 30 cottages and 10 rooms for the NBATVFORUM Group. They will hold these for us until September 30th and will then release what hasn't been reserved to the public so get your reservation in early because it's busy time for hockey tournaments that time of year up there.

When making reservations please specify if you want a cottage or a hotel room.

Some forum members have stayed here in the past and they will all tell you that it's an awesome facility.

Cottages:

The cottages all have 2 bedroom with either 2 queen beds or 1 queen bed and 2 single beds. They also have a pull out couch and full kitchen. The nightly rate for a cottage will be around $135 per night.

All of our cottages include:

  • Fully equipped kitchen
  • Two bedrooms
  • Bathroom
  • A living and dining area
  • Satellite dish
  • Fireplace
  • Towels and bedding

Hotel Rooms:

They have 10 rooms with a single King Size Bed, 5 rooms with 2 Queen Size Beds and 4 rooms with 1 Queen Size Bed and they also have 1 big suite. Breakfast is included with the room.

Rooms with 1 King Size Bed comes with a mini-fridge: Nightly rate $94

Rooms with 2 Queen Size Bed comes with a mini-fridge: Nightly rate $104

Rooms with 1 Queen Size Bed doesn't come with a mini-fridge: Nightly rate $79

Suite comes with Whirlpool, mini-fridge, and microwave

They even have a SPA Center so you can even bring the other half along and if she doesn't want to go biking, she can spend the day at the SPA and make a nice romantic weekend out of it

I can already here the conversation around the X-Mas tree. Look honey I bought you a day at a SPA in Tracadie but it must be used on Feb 26th which just happens to be the same day as Winter Jam.

http://www.spa2rivieres.ca/indexen.cfm

So let the planning begin for Winter Jam 2011.

Already got a nice 150km loop planned with one of the highlight being Jacks Lake on Saturday evening. Last time I went to Jacks Lake, there was about 200 ATV's parked outside and there wasn't a poker run going on. Aweome camp to party and have a good time at.

If you have any questions, please let me know but more information will be coming once we get closer to the date.

A few pictures of the grounds I took this spring while scoping out the place for WJ2011

Moike and Darlene

I booked a room at the Hotel and she informed me that the rates are subject to change because they have not set the rates for next year as of yet.

However, who cares.....we are going regardless
