the 09 and 2010 filters are different from the 08 and previous models...

all you guys running twin air should check and make sure its not the one with the elbow on it...cause if it is that will hinder the air flow...not that your bike will run crappy but you will be getting less air intake...

the twin air that KD posted on the first page is the proper one and I do believe they just started with those...

also there is no UNI filter for the 09-010 can-ams..unless you use an old one..

yup 08 and under have a plastic elbow that the uni or paper filter fits on...the 09 and up do not have this...

umm yes I know that is the stock filter...ummm I got the pic from the can-am parts site lol...

and that is what im saying to these guys..to check their twin air filter to see if it has an elbow on it...but the one that KD posted on the first page does not...that is the new twin air filter for the 09s and up...it does not have the elbow...hence why it says 2009-2011 for gades and outlander 800s and 2010-2011 outlander 650s on the picture....

the elbow on the previous years will hinder the air flow for the 09s and up...so I am telling these guys not to use the elbow when they have the 09 and up intake or you will be actually losing some power...(some will probably not notice but some will)

did you read any of the posts??

oh wait the new ones do still have the elbow...it just looks like it is opened up???

im sorry I have not seen one yet up close just from what I have heard..

Hey DP. where did you get your dust cover? I think it would be a good idea considering the dust that gets in there from what I saw when I cleaned my filter.

Dropped off my atv today at Hi tech in Moncton and asked for this filter. They are back ordered until end of August. Other than Canadian on line is there a local who has them in stock.??
