TBONE.I had a problem with my new prowler about 500km into it and found problem to be valves.had to patterson and repaired and never had problem again.have 2000km on it now and works good.It is a 650 h1 engine.Get it to dealer.I have no complants with patterson's.i've had cat's for some time now and had good luck with them.had few little thing's but i let the dealer look after that for me.bought 2 bike's from them new.400 arctic cat 4 wheeler and now a 650 xt prowler.the wheeler had 8000km in 2 years and know problem's.prowler has over 2000km and 3 months old and love it.few things at first but go know.hope you get yours fixed.dont lose hope.it has to be something.

well found the problem carb flot is stuk and for the pufff of smoke it's a
seal behind the clutch that's i leaking oil on the belt so i decided it will
be no longer my problem will have a new cat in the shed tomorrow
afternoon it's a 700 2 up

Good to see you stuck with a CAT. Sure you will have better luck with this one.

Someone once told me buying a new bike of any kind is like a Crap shoot sometimes you get a good one sometimes you don't...
