no i am not kidding... 90 percent of your " wheeling trails" are nothing more than highways...And that pipeline especially is like 35-40 feet wide!!! and you dont own it.. man if that were me out there in my jeep and you were bitching cause i wasn't on a 4 wheeler with a truck motor i would be pissed at you.. it doesn't matter what you wheel with its the fact that we like to OFFROAD.
ok, the guy was not on the 35-40 foot wide pipeline. he was actually narrowed himself inbetween the trees. there was people driving over the trees along the trail to get around the dude in the truck. theres a diffrence of OFFROADING and being 17 years old driving daddy's truck that has a set of mud tires over brooks and rivers where people ride atv's and sleds. there is now where the trail used to be nice to ride on, big freaking ruts on the trail!!! someone is going to drive on that trail in the night and get their TIRES or SKI'S down in that rut and go right over the handle bars.
I honestly hope the truck stays there until summer. theres a diffrence between OFFROADING and being phawkin stupid. people have to get some common sence!!!!!!!

sounds like offroading to me...lack of common sence is mandatory..why else would we spend that kind of money..LOL..in all honesty i haven't seen this "truck" but at least it gave you guys an obsticle and a break from the 65+KM/hour drivin from the sounds of it..
There was no way to help him. I asked if they needed a lift out to get someone but they didn't want to leave the truck. They had someone on the way but how they were going to get it out is beyond me..... They were buried deep with only one direction out and they would have needed heavy assistance for that. No way was a couple of quads going to do that. Good luck to them but they weren't smart about this and they didn't want help from us. With that said, I wouldn't have accepted help from someone laughing at me asking " What the hell were you thinking when you decided to try this".
IT's not like off-roaders have a license for stupidity or misjudgment, I've seen a LOT of ATV's in places where they shouldn't of been, and most every time a bunch of "good-ole-boys' standing around laughing their asses off at the fellows misfortune of getting stuck in front of his buddies. It happens, have fun with it then move on to the next hole. The talk of vandalizing the vehicles concerns me since it is these same guys that would vandalize a stranded vehicle, that would vandalize a camp or a hunters trailer out in the woods or for that matter an ATV that was stuck where the owner had to hike out and go get it the next day. Good to get the posting of a trails obstacle so others can avoid it if possible.
(I doubt I would of contained my laughter either at this guys predicament either, LOL)
