I'd look at the 650 and wouldn't even consider the 750. To many 750 rebuilds.

Same here, I'd go with the 650i over the 750.

Way too many issues with the 750 motors. I think Casper is the only one on the forum with an 08 750 that hasn't gotten his motor done due to oil consumption.

I know KawiKid, Matty, CamoKawi, downhomer have all had there motors redone.

Only drawback with the 650i is that you loose fuel injection.

But they are still great bikes.

Performance wise the 650i and 750 are quite comparable.

You being a Kawi owner know how cold blooded those Kawi's can be, so having FI is quite nice to have.

I haven't had my 08 FI rebuilt....I got rid of it before it got to that

I had my 05 750 rebuilt twice though

The 650i are faster then the 750FI already for some reason...go for the 650i!!!

It's sooooo true.....before leaving on any rip, I usually let the bike idle for 15min+ before leaving

Kawi cold blooded no such thing.  My 2006 is in for a rebuild now and has 12000km on it.  Think it is time for an upgrade.  I have heard the same about the 750 so think I will stay with a 650.  That is if the dealerships call me back.  I called today for pricing to buy a new one and non have called me back.  Guess I might have to go out of town to buy a new bike.

I agree.   9000 km's plus on my Kawi 650i and never anything wrong with it. 

Still unsure why so many 750's are problematic while 650's are way better engine was.
