Ontario Riders Take on New Brunswick Trails: A Summer Adventure

In late May or early June, Don Baker started asking around about heading down from Ontario to New Brunswick for their annual summer vacation—this time with a few of his regular riding crew.

Normally, their summer adventures take them to West Virginia, USA. But this year, they decided to keep it Canadian—and New Brunswick won the lottery!

The Journey Begins

The group arrived at Adair’s Wilderness Lodge late Saturday night on June 28th, after hauling their side-by-sides (SxSs) from Ontario—a journey of roughly 16 hours. In total, six SxSs made the trip, ready to explore some of the best trails the province has to offer.

Meeting Up and Hitting the Trails

My buddy Rick and I joined them on Monday, riding in my 2022 Teryx S LE 4-seater. It was about a two-hour drive from our place to Adair’s, and we were pumped to get out on the trails.

We rolled out around 10 a.m., led by local trail expert Dave Guignard. One of the first stops was a lookout I’d never seen before, offering a stunning distant view of Martin Head. From there, we backtracked a few kilometers to catch the low tide trail that leads right to the beach.

We paused for some photos on the beach, then made the climb to the top of Martin Head Island—a highlight of the day.
